Refund Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-06
1. In short
Access to Rijtheorie is a low-priced, one-time purchase of a short access period that starts immediately after payment. Because you ask for immediate access and acknowledge the consequences for your right of withdrawal before you pay, we do not offer refunds if you simply change your mind, did not use your access, or did not pass your exam.
We do refund you if the Service did not work on our side and we could not fix it within a reasonable time. This policy explains when, how to report it, what information we need, and how refunds are paid. It also explains your statutory rights, which always apply.
This policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions. It is issued by Taimur Ali, Office No. 789, Deans, Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, 207yaseena6@gmail.com.
2. Paddle's role
All purchases are sold by our reseller Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle") as merchant of record. Every refund is paid by Paddle, to the payment method you used for the purchase. Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase and may give you additional refund rights; where they do, you can rely on them. Nothing in this policy limits your rights against Paddle.
3. Your right of withdrawal
As a consumer buying online, you normally have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason (articles VI.47 and following of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, CEL, implementing Directive 2011/83/EU).
Before you pay, you are asked to tick a checkbox by which you request that your access start immediately, during the 14-day withdrawal period, and acknowledge the consequences for your right of withdrawal. You cannot buy access without ticking it. We confirm your request and acknowledgement in the confirmation email we send after your purchase.
The consequences are as follows:
- Our lessons, questions and mock exams are digital content supplied to you online, not on a tangible medium. Because you requested immediate supply and acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal, that right ends as soon as your access has started (article VI.53, 13° CEL; article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU).
- If your access were to be considered a digital service rather than digital content, the following applies instead: you lose your right of withdrawal once your access period has been fully used (article VI.53, 1° CEL; article 16(a) of Directive 2011/83/EU). If you withdraw within 14 days and before your access period has ended, we refund the price minus an amount proportionate to the access already provided up to the moment you informed us of your withdrawal, calculated per started day of access (article VI.51 CEL; article 14(3) of Directive 2011/83/EU). Your access ends when we receive your withdrawal.
- If, for any reason, we did not obtain your request and acknowledgement or did not confirm them to you, your full right of withdrawal remains, and you can withdraw within 14 days of your purchase and receive a full refund.
How to withdraw, where the right still applies: send us a clear statement that you wish to withdraw, before the end of the 14-day period, by email to 207yaseena6@gmail.com from the email address you used for the purchase, mentioning the date of purchase and, if possible, the Paddle order number. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not required. We confirm receipt by email without delay. We arrange any refund due through Paddle without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days after receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method as for the original purchase, without any fee for you.
Model withdrawal form (complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract):
- To: Taimur Ali, Office No. 789, Deans, Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, 207yaseena6@gmail.com
- I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the supply of the following digital content / digital service: Rijtheorie access, plan of [3 / 10 / 30] days
- Ordered on: [date]
- Name of consumer: [name]
- Email address used for the purchase: [email]
- Paddle order number (if known): [number]
- Date: [date]
4. Refunds when the Service does not work on our side
We refund you if all of the following conditions are met:
- during your access period, the Service was unavailable or did not work properly, so that you could not use the Paid Content you bought, or only to a substantially reduced extent (for example the website did not load, you could not sign in although you received our sign-in emails, the Paid Content stayed locked after payment, or lessons, questions or mock exams repeatedly failed to load or work);
- the cause lies on our side or with our providers, and not in your own device, browser, settings, software, internet connection or email account;
- you reported the problem to us within the period set out in section 5, with the information set out in section 6; and
- we did not fix the problem within a reasonable period after your report. What is reasonable depends on the length of your access: as a guideline, we aim to fix problems within 24 hours for 3-day plans and within 48 hours for 10-day and 30-day plans.
If the problem was fixed in time, we will extend your access by at least the time during which you could not use it, at no cost. If you prefer a refund to an extension in that situation, tell us; where the problem made the Service essentially unusable for a significant part of your access period, we will grant the refund.
If you do not receive our sign-in emails, please first check the email address you entered and allow a few minutes for delivery. If the problem continues, contact us: we can also help you sign in.
5. When to report
Please report the problem as soon as possible, and in any case within 7 days after you first notice it, and at the latest 14 days after your access period has ended. Reporting quickly allows us to fix the problem while you can still use your access.
If you report later, we will still examine your report, but it may be more difficult for us to establish what happened. This period does not limit your statutory rights described in section 9.
6. What information we need
To determine whether the problem is caused on our side or in your own environment, we ask you to provide, to the extent you reasonably can:
- the email address you used for the purchase, and the Paddle order number or receipt;
- a description of the problem: what you were trying to do, the steps you took, and what happened;
- the date, time and time zone when the problem occurred, and whether it occurred once, repeatedly or continuously;
- screenshots or screen recordings showing the error message or problem, in which the date and time and, if possible, the web address are visible (for example with the clock of your device shown);
- your device type and model, operating system and version, and browser and version (for example "iPhone 14, iOS 18.2, Safari"; "Windows 11 laptop, Chrome 141");
- whether you tried the simple steps we suggest: reloading the page, signing in again with a new link, using another browser or device, disabling browser extensions such as ad blockers, or using another network, and what the result was.
Under the law, you are required to cooperate with us to the extent reasonably possible and necessary to determine whether the problem is caused by your own digital environment; this information is what we need for that. We only ask for what is necessary and never for passwords or payment details. We may also check our own system records, such as error logs and the records of sign-in links sent, and those of our providers. If we need more information, we will ask you.
7. How we decide
We confirm receipt of your report within 3 business days and, where possible, try to fix the problem or help you straight away.
We decide on your request within 10 business days after receiving the information described in section 6, and we tell you our decision and the reasons by email. Where the outcome depends on whether the cause lay on our side, we take into account the information you provided, our own records and the records of our providers. If the evidence, taken as a whole, shows that the Service did not work on our side during your access period, we accept the request.
If you do not agree with our decision, you can reply with further information and we will review the decision once more. You can also use the complaint and mediation options set out in our Terms and Conditions.
8. Amount and payment of refunds
- If the Service was essentially unusable from the start of your access period and we could not fix it within a reasonable period, you receive a full refund.
- Otherwise, you receive a refund proportionate to the part of your access period during which you could not use the Service, rounded up to whole days, or, if you prefer, an extension of your access by that time.
- Refunds are made through Paddle to the original payment method, in the currency of payment, without any fee for you. We instruct Paddle within 5 business days after our decision. The time it takes for the money to appear on your account depends on Paddle and on your bank or payment provider (usually 5 to 10 business days).
- Once a full refund has been made, the access concerned ends. After a partial refund, your remaining access continues.
9. Your statutory rights remain
Independently of this policy, as a consumer you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and digital services under Belgian law. If the Service does not conform to the contract during your access period, you are entitled to have it brought into conformity and, if that is not done within a reasonable time or the lack of conformity is serious, to a proportionate price reduction or to end the contract and obtain a refund. The procedure in sections 4 to 8 is how we handle such cases in practice; it does not limit these statutory rights, nor any other right you have under mandatory law.
10. What is not refunded
Except where your statutory rights or Paddle's Buyer Terms provide otherwise, we do not refund:
- a purchase you no longer want after your access has started (change of mind);
- access you did not use, or did not use fully;
- a purchase because you did or did not pass the exam;
- problems caused by your own device, browser, software, extensions, settings, internet connection or email account, or by your entering a wrong email address;
- short interruptions, such as announced maintenance, that did not prevent you from using the Service to a substantial extent during your access period;
- access suspended or terminated because you breached our Terms and Conditions, for example by sharing your access or scraping content.
11. Chargebacks
If you think you are entitled to a refund, please contact us first, so that we can resolve it quickly. If you request a chargeback or payment reversal from your bank or card issuer, we may suspend the access concerned while the dispute is pending. This does not affect your rights against your bank or card issuer.
